One carries the date "Oct. 14th, '91" and is marked "condensed version." The vocal scores include 71 copies in English and Italian published by Schirmer (New York, 1891, pl. no. 9773), five of which are arranged as stage manager's guides; five copies in English and Italian by White-Smith (Boston, 1891); one copy in Italian by E. Sonzogno (Milan, 1890, pl. no. E. 492 S.); one copy in German by Sonzogno (Milan, 1890, pl. no. E. 505 S.); one copy in English and Italian by Saalfield (New York, 189-?); one copy in English and Italian by Ascherberg, Hopwood & Crew (London, 189-?, pl. no. E.A. & Co. 605); one copy in German and Italian by Bote & Bock (Berlin, 189-?, pl. no. 13526, 13550) which contains photographs and signatures of the composer and tenor Carl Fischer-Niemann; and one copy in German by Bote & Bock (Berlin, 189-?, pl. no. 13526). The selections are in English, published by W.A. Pond (New York, 1891). The orchestra parts are manuscript, in four sets. Two sets are for the condensed version, and one set is marked "original." The accompanying material includes a program dated 1945 from the Columbia Choral Society featuring pianist Gary Graffman for a performance at which a scene from the opera was performed, one invoice for orchestra parts rental, and four sheets of instrumental cuts and transpositions.
